Wouldn't be such a problem but the level indicator is hidden behind the stage next to fire escape, so very hard to keep an eye on sound levels during gig.
I was running a Karaoke party and needed a helper to keep an eye on the meter and wave at me during the gig when we were in the red to stop everything turning off! Seemed excessively sensitive.
It made what should have been a fun afternoon into an ordeal!
I appreciate it is probably a legal requirement, but seems absurd given the venue is sandwiched between the train line and a busy road.
Would avoid for any event that requires live (or simply loud) music.
Otherwise a nice venue!
